In-Home Matters

In Home Matters is the non-medical division of Senior Matters Extended Services, LLC. Our non-medical services include CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to companionship/caregiver level of care for individuals and are available a few hours a week up to 24/7 coverage. Caregiver/Companions offer our clients the interaction and companionship that supports independent living, while promoting safety and quality of life in any setting. All of our Caregiver/Companions are thoroughly screened (employment reference check, Federal Background Check, 5-panel Drug Screen by an independent lab and 2 Step PPD test).

All employees are required to attend four hours of training each calendar year. This training enhances their skills, knowledge base and awareness of care issues that client experience.

All In Home Matters employees are able to contact a certified care manager 24/7, 365 days of the year. It does not have to be an emergency for a caregiver to find themselves calling the help line. The management of In Home Matters provides the staff with a network of qualified care managers who can answer questions, concerns or clarification of duties set forth in the care plan.

Caregiver/Companion Services

Our compassionate and dedicated employees can provide a wide range of services that support one’s independence and way of life. Our unique combination of Geriatric Care Management and trained caregivers/companions allows us to coordinate the services established in an individualized care plan. Our dedicated caregiver/companion is assigned to assist with daily tasks and activities for the client. Client’s and family members are always welcomed to interview/meet with potential caregiver to ensure compatibility. The staff will place a caregiver that is trained and has knowledge of the medical, psychological, and ethnic and cultural ways that blend into the care plan. We will always strive to match the caregiver’s training, talents and knowledge with the clients we serve.

Live-In Services

In Home Matters offers a live-in service where companions stay in the client’s home. Live-ins provide around the clock care for client living in a home, condo, apartment or any independent community settings. Our live-in caregivers assist with all daily tasks and remain with the client throughout the night. Live-In caregivers must be able to sleep at night in a separate bedroom. Typically, two caregivers are placed on a live-in case which provides several days off for each caregiver. Live-in services help allow clients to remain in their home with the supervision and assistance needed for a healthy environment. Live-in services are billed at a fixed daily rate, instead of hourly.
